Prediction of drug-target interactions for selective androgen receptor modulators (SARMs) using machine learning methods
Sungjoon Kang is currently a freshman at Korea International School. Sungjoon was born in Seoul, South Korea, and has lived in Boston, Massachusetts for 5 years. His hobbies include playing ice hockey and tennis. He also enjoys playing the violin. He is interested in the area of medicine and aerospace engineering. In his free time, he enjoys studying military technology: armament, attack helicopters, fighter aircraft, tanks, etc. His lifelong vision is to become a doctor and help people in need.
Soh Yun Kang is a junior at Fullerton Union High School. She was born in Suji, South Korea and has lived in Fullerton, California since she was three years old. Her hobbies include playing the piano, listening to music, and participating in art activities. She is interested in the area of veterinary studies as she wishes to focus on the biological and chemical components of helping ill animals. From this project, she began to think about the numerous possibilities for new drug discoveries if one was to utilize this similar method for animals.
Nick Ngoc Quang Tran is currently a junior at Pacific Academy. He was born in Portland, Oregon, and has lived in Portland Oregon for the past fifteen years since he was born. The following hobbies that he has are chess, biking, soccer, and ping pong. He is interested in the medical field where he specifically utilizes his scientific knowledge from biochemical research, biochemistry, and anatomy. He wishes to become a pulmonologist who will help those that suffer the same condition as him, asthma.
